Emphasis is on nurturing with prompt and loving attention. Infant areas are designed so that all physical development – crawling, sitting, pulling, standing, and walking – can be comfortably attempted. Special toys and equipment are provided for development of infants.
Physical Development
During this stage, your child will make great strides in physical development. You can expect them to start walking more confidently, and some may even begin to run. Fine motor skills also improve, allowing them to manipulate smaller objects, use simple tools, and enjoy activities like turning pages in a book or stacking blocks.
At EDUCATION STATION:
- Active Play: We encourage gross motor skills with plenty of time for walking, climbing, and safe, supervised running in our play areas.
- Fine Motor Fun: Activities are designed to refine fine motor skills, such as puzzles, arts and crafts, and shape sorting toys, which also enhance hand-eye coordination.
